Jilijah Thomas is a Florida-born, Panamanian designer and creator based in Brooklyn, New York. Initially a fashion designer, Jilijah’s jewelry journey began in early 2023, but he has always been captivated by the allure of grillz and ‘gold caps’ since his youth. During the early 2000s in Jacksonville, Jilijah saw people personally incorporating fronts in their everyday style. These unique forms of self-expression always held a significant place in his life, with even his Panamanian grandfather sporting gold caps, instilling in him a deep appreciation for the accessory.

The rich and fascinating history of gold grillz and fronts in the South, particularly in Florida, reflects the cultural tapestry of the region. Drawing inspiration from Panamanian heritage’s strong affinity for gold, which he incorporates into his work ethic and designs. As an artist, Jilijah is passionate about creating wearable art using fine materials. Each piece he crafts is meticulously handmade with love, committing to showcasing rare beauty and excellence.
